Conceived and created in 1991 by Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza has continually been a top destination music festival since it came to Chicago almost 10 years ago. Sal Masekela sat down with Perry to talk about the creation of the event, and the rich history behind one of the biggest music festivals in the world.

Pitching up in Chicago for the ninth year in a row, the 2014 Lollapalooza festival will fill the city with music from August 1st - 3rd, and welcome over 160,000 people to the historic Grant Park in Chicago.
